How can I improve my speed and agility...I have weights a speed ladder cones and a chute but I don't know much on how to further increasing my speed and agility I play football and play offensive line ..any sports drill I'm sure will help...and please don't send me a link to a site
It may sound crazy, but to run faster, you have to practice running faster, increasing your lactate threshold. Interval training is good for this. Run 1/2 mile warm up, then follow this with 200 meters all out, followed by 200 meters slow, then do this again, 3-4 times total. Time yourself, this teaches your body to learn to run while fatigued and builds your legs and lungs.
Do this workout no more than twice a week, make sure the day before this, you are fully rested, good luck...
