Balls Penn Wilson

I was not surprised that New England beat Pittsburgh. I was surprised by easily it was, especially considering there were strong whispers around the league that Patriots were a finesse team. That means in NFL terms that the Patriots were soft. The Patriots disproved that notion on the opening drive and continuing the onslaught the entire game. Tom Brady was vintage Tom Brady standing tall in the pocket and shredding the best defensive team in the league. The Patriots ran the ball and threw at will out of both their three tight end package and their multiple receiver packages. The Patriots offensive line was stellar. Brady was hardly touched. He had time to comb his hair and call his wife back there. The Patriots defense rebounded after getting worked over last week against the Cleveland Browns. They shut down the Steelers running attack, harassed and sacked Ben Roethilsberger. They gave up nothing for the first three quarters. The points and yards they gave up in the fourth was in garbage time.

The Steelers played like a team that had been on a long road trip and played tired. They had no zip on either side of the ball. They never had answers for the New England's diverse offensive sets. They were playing on their heels the entire game. I hardly heard James Harrision's or Troy Polamalu's names mentioned except for making tackles downfield. I can't remember the last time the Steelers' defense was dismantled so easily. This may in part be due that they were missing key starters on both the offensive and defensive lines. They got whipped on both sides of the ball. Tom Brady just has their number. He is a remarkable 6-1 against them. The Steelers won't admit it publicly, but privately they probably hope to avoid the Patriots in the playoffs.

Dallas beating the New York Giants. This was shocker a first glance, but in reality it wasn't. The Cowboys had a new coach. They practiced in pads for the first time since training camp and they actually played hard for maybe the first time in about a month. They also did not shoot themselves in the foot with numerous costly penalties and turnovers. A good recipe for winning. I can't fault the Giants. It was human nature for them to be flat. The Giants were on a three game winning streak routing each of their opponents. They blew the doors off the Cowboys the last time they played them. They would have to been blind to see the Cowboys had quit the last three games. They looked unprepared for that kind of effort by the Cowboys. The Giants even with missing offensive line starters and noted Cowboy killer Steve Smith thought they going to roll the Cowboys again. By the time they realized the Cowboys were not going to roll over, they were already down by two touchdowns and in fight. You spot any team two touchdowns you are not going to win.

Atlanta edging Baltimore. The Ravens defense was not the same when Ray Lewis went out with injury. Roddy White got away with a little shove on the game winning touchdown pass. The referees must have been thinking about what strip club they were going to later.

Indianapolis over Cincinnati. Peyton Manning and the Colts did just enough to win. The Bengals do just enough to lose every week, every year, every decade.

Buffalo edging Detroit. The Bills finally win a close game. Detroit plays hard every week, but they seem to be missing one key ingredient, luck.

Jacksonville over Houston. The outstanding comeback by the Texans against the Jaguars was wiped out on the last second touchdown pass by the Jaguars The Texans new Hail Mary defensive word should be. "Knock it into the 25th row!"

Miami beating Tennessee. Tyler Thigpen leads the Dolphins to victory. I'm thinking he wasn't on anybody's fantasy football team. I hope the Titans don't have a post game meal. I hear Randy Moss is a raging foodie.

Chicago over Minnesota. I'm amazed that teams don't cover and still kick to Devin Hester. Don't they know he is the Bears only offensive weapon? The Vikings are now officially done. I'm wondering when Vikings owner Zigi Wilf is going to put an end to the most hated coach in the world.

Tampa Bay smashing Carolina. Josh Freeman is Tampa Bay's best quarterback ever. Jon Gruden wishes he was still their coach. The Panthers are just plain bad. They still won't make Jay Leno monologue because he doesn't know they exist.

New York Jets edging Cleveland. The Jets win a close one despite three missed kicks by their soon to be ex kicker Nick Folk. The Browns played with great effort up until two defensive players gave an "Ole" to Santonio Holmes on his game winning catch and run in overtime.

Denver blasting Kansas City. The Broncos rolled the Chiefs. Coach Todd Haley had no reason not to shake Josh McDaniel's hand. He should remember McDaniel's Bronco's gave up 59 points to the Raiders.

San Francisco edging St. Louis. Troy Smith is quickly making 49er fans forget Jeff Garcia. The Rams let a golden opportunity slip away to put Mike Singletary into crazy talk during post game press conference.

Seattle over Arizona. The Seahawks finally played like angry zombies and won on the road. Then again it was against a team with a revolving quarterback situation. Did Neil Lomax play this week?

NFL Tickets - Grading the AFC East after the Draft

Perhaps no division in football has had as many prominent moves as the AFC East this offseason, making for an incredibly interesting year. With the New England Patriots, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins all bringing in premier players before the draft, the AFC East looks to be the most difficult division in the entire league heading into the 2010 season. Though the Buffalo Bills are still in rebuilding mode, the rest of the division is nothing short of stacked.

New England Patriots: The Patriots are in a precarious position in the division for the first time in quite some time. Though they lost the division in 2008 due to a season-ending injury to Tom Brady (even with an 11-5 record), the Pats have been completely dominant for nearly a decade. But the Dolphins and Jets have certainly closed the gap and many believe this is the year that the Pats fall from dominance.

The main reason for this is the Pats' decline on defense, which they addressed early and often in the draft. With their first pick, the 27th overall, they got a solid cornerback in Devin McCourty out of Rutgers, who should start early in the season. His versatility is already being touted and he should definitely improve a shaky secondary. They also made a splash by trading up to select tight end Rob Gronkowski in the second round. With Wes Welker's future uncertain, the Pats needed another receiver who can help Tom Brady and the offense. With Gronkowski, they may have found their man. Still, even in drafting two linebackers from Florida, the Pats are not a shoe-in to win the division in 2010.

New York Jets: After reaching the AFC Championship game, nobody has been more active than the Jets. After cutting running back Thomas Jones, they brought over LaDainian Tomlinson, who will split carries with Shonn Greene behind a very good offensive line. To aid second-year quarterback Mark Sanchez, they then traded for Santonio Holmes for practically nothing. Jason Taylor may be in the twilight of his career, but his addition from the Dolphins could also prove to help the pass-rush.

In the draft, instead of going for a flashy pick early, the Jets grabbed cornerback Kyle Wilson out of Boise State, who will give the Jets a very strong set of three cornerbacks in Darelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Wilson. Though they didn't have too many other picks, their selection of Vladimir Ducasse out of Massachusetts should also give them some depth on their already strong line. Considering the pieces they've added, the Jets could take down the division and be a scary playoff team if Mark Sanchez can continue to develop.

Miami Dolphins: Perhaps with the strongest improvement this offseason was the Miami Dolphins, both in terms of what they added in the draft and through trades/free agency. They traded out of their 14th position in the first round and selected defensive tackle Jared Odrick out of Penn State, who will help fill a hole in the middle of the defensive line. They also added a pass rusher in Koa Misi, who has strong upside as an outside linebacker who can get after the quarterback.

But their biggest splash certainly came before the draft. In a trade with the Broncos, they brought over stud receiver Brandon Marshall, who will give developing quarterback Chad Henne a top-tier target. They already have a strong running game and Marshall gives them considerable balance. On defense, they signed inside linebacker Karlos Dansby, who was a standout on defense with the Arizona Cardinals last season. The Dolphins were 7-9 last season with plenty of holes on their team, which they have largely filled this offseason. As the strong-armed Henne improves, the Dolphins could turn into a formidable team in 2010. It would not be that much of a stretch to see three playoff teams coming out of the AFC East.

Buffalo Bills: The Bills would likely be the team left out of the playoff mix. They opted for the flashy route in this first round with C.J. Spiller, who is a running back with plenty of talent but will be carrying the ball behind a porous offensive line. Spiller will help sell NFL tickets and could be a star, but the Bills have other problems. Even though they addressed their needs on the defensive front in the second round with Torell Troup, the Bills are going to have a tough time stopping the run and getting after the quarterback. When that combines with a sub-par offense, it could be a long season for the Bills.

Tennis balls, different brands matter?

Is the more expensive wilson tennis balls better than penn?

Penn is cheap and a decent ball, but they die kind of fast. Normal Wilson are complete garbage. US Open Wilson balls are amazing. They are what they use in most tournaments. Dunlop are very good too. If you just want some balls to practice with, get the penn. They come in a box and are cheap. Btw, never get any balls that aren't sealed in a can.

Ohio captures Big 33
Mark Myers' 7-yard touchdown pass to Christian Bryant with 1:04 left gave Ohio a 18-15 win over Pennsylvania in an interminable, error-filled Big 33 game at Hersheypark Stadium. The play capped a wild stretch drive that saw Pennsylvania take the lead on a 65-yard bomb, Anthony Gonzalez (Bethlehem...
