Drive Cortex Tennis

Perhaps anyone who plays tennis knows that Rafeal Nadal uses the Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex Racquet and would love to get one too. But you're not Rafael Nadal, should you buy and use this racquet?

Well, yes and no. It will depend on a few factors and this article will attempt to talk about them. After reading this article, you'll be able to make your decision with confidence.

First of all, in order to buy a tennis racquet that's right for you, you need to know your skill level.

For instance, beginner players will more likely select racquet which is light weight, has an oversize head, is longer and is head heavy. These factors are important for the beginners as they will give them more swing power. On the other hand, advanced players are more likely looking for more maneuverability and control. Hence, they will prefer a racquet which has a smaller head, is heavier in weight and thinner beams.

Other important factos to consider are weight, head size, length, tension and grip size.

Here are a few facts you need to know when selecting your tennis racquet:

- Lighter weight racket will give you more ease and swing power. Heavier racquet will give you more stability and less shock.

- Larger head size will give you more hitting areas and sweetspots (perfect for the beginners). However, smaller head size is prefered by advanced players for better coordination and control.

- Longer racquet will offer more reach on ground strokes but is harder to control.

The Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex racquet is an updated version of an already very successful AeroPro Drive Standard. Thanks to the new cortex technology, it offers the same great playability with the previous model with more comfort and a solid feel. It's light weight also gives you easy swing with a lot of power. The racquet is also great if you're a topspin player. Although it's very light (which appeals to begginers) yet still very stable. At net, the racquet offers good maneuverability and control.

Conclusion:

The Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex racquet offers some serious pop and spin potential in a well-rounded maneuverable package. Its great sweetspot and power makes it a solid choice for a variety of player levels. Power baseline players will definitely love the pace and accuracy of hitting the ball with this stick. The power and spin potential of this racquet will make for fun serving as well.

Hope you find this article informative.

The retail price for this racquet is $185 but you can get one with lower price online. I have scoured the Net to find the best place to buy this racquet online and I have put together a listing of the best prices for the Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex Racquets. CLICK HERE to see the listing.

The Top 10 Video Games To Improve Senior Health

If you think that video games are for lazy teenagers or adult couch potatoes only, think again. Once you start reaching your ‘golden’ age or if you are way past your 60s and 70s, your heart, body and mind can use the adrenaline rush brought about by the modern gaming devices which are available today.

Why Video Games Aren’t Just For Kids Anymore?

So what exactly are the benefits that grandma and grandpa can get from playing Wii, online games, PlayStation 2 or similar gaming devices? There’s actually a lot more to video gaming than you may actually think.

A good number of studies in the past have shown that playing video games has many positive benefits to senior health. For young people, one of the benefits of playing video games is to sharpen their problem-solving abilities. Video games are even known to improve the skills of a surgeon in the operating table.

Now, to give you an idea about the health benefits that older people will enjoy, take a look at the following list:

1. According to the Psychology and Aging magazine, playing complex video games after receiving training may improve the cognitive functions of seniors. This is one the functions which typically decline with age.

2. Aside from improving their cognitive functions, video games which require seniors to juggle multiple tasks may also improve their ability to perform some other everyday tasks in the ‘real world’.

3. Researches done in the past also indicated that video games such as the ones provided by Nintendo and Wii can be successfully used to doctor seniors with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other illnesses of a psychological or psychosocial nature.

4. Preliminary studies have shown that strategy video games may help older adults in keeping their brains razor sharp.

Since you will be playing with the aid of a joystick, video games can help improve your eye-hand coordination.
To sum it all up, what video games do is keep an aging brain young – which is why they bring forth a multitude of benefits for a senior’s overall health. And with the introduction of Wii fitness-themed games, who says that they can’t enjoy the physical benefits of video games as well?

The Wii Remote is the key. What it does is mimic the actions performed in real life sports.

what is the difference between babolat aeropro drive cortex and babolat pure drive cortex?

http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Babolat_Pure_Drive_Cortex/descpageRCBAB-BPD2S.html

OR just in general what is the difference between aeropro drive and pure drive???

i like to hit medium topspin, 2 handed backhand, flat serve, dont volley much, mostly baseliner, which one should i get?

Both racquets are great for baseliners. There's very little between the two. they are slightly head light racquets that produce a large amount of power and spin, with little feel for volleys. sounds like either would be good for your playing style. If you need more power, go for pure drive as it has more natural power potential. If you prefer more spin, go for aeropro. also, the pure drive is slightly head heavier, meaning it's more difficult yo maneuver around the net for volleys.
