Sheep skin boots and all things made from natural sheep skin are very trendy and very popular among all classes of people. Because sheep skin is a natural material, items that are made with it tend to be very expensive. After spending so much of your hard-earned money on genuine sheep skin boots, you may be scared to wear them fearing that they may become soiled and you won't be able to get them clean. While it is true that the best way to care for your this type of boot is to not get them dirty in the first place, that likely is not possible. Besides, if you simply wanted to admire the good and expensive look of the boots, then the boots should have remained in the store window display case. They are boots after all, and you should expect that they will get dirty either from urban dirt or country soil.
Keep in mind that sheep skin boots are made from an animal's skin, and animals do get exposed to the elements. They get wet and dirty and they recover from this exposure to the elements, so it is safe to assume that your new boots can be safely cleaned as well. Boots made from a sheep's skin are in some ways delicate, and they can be easily damaged by chemicals or by scratches and other types of abrasions. To maintain that expensive, soft look of the sheep skin, never use inappropriate chemicals when cleaning. And always use soft rags that will not scratch or otherwise damage the surface of the boots.
The first thing you should do after purchasing a pair of sheep skin boots is to apply a spray sealant type product to the boot. Be sure to follow the product's directions for use. Taking this step is more of a preventative measure. It will offer a certain degree of protection by blocking soil and water from penetrating into the sheep skin.
When you do need to clean your sheep skin boots start by using a soft brush or a soft, dry cloth. Apply light pressure and simply try to buff out the stain. If that approach does not work, you can purchase a cleaning product that is recommended for wool. The cleaning product use instructions may or may not require the product to be mixed with lukewarm water. Always read the label first and proceed as instructed. Shoe stores are a good place to locate an appropriate cleaning product to use on sheep skin boots. Searching the Internet is another good way to locate an appropriate cleaning product . If using the Internet, just be sure to take whatever steps are necessary to protect your credit card information.
Once you have successfully finished cleaning your sheep skin boots, they will need to dry. You should never use or expose your boots to extreme heat sources when drying. In the path of direct sunlight, in front of a crackling fire or heater or inside a dryer are the places where these boots should never be allowed to roam. Exposing your boots to these extreme sources of heat likely will cause significant as well as permanent damage to the delicate sheep skin. Instead, find a nice shady spot to place your boots so that they can air dry naturally.
Never attempt to dry clean your sheep skin boots. The chemicals that are used in the dry cleaning process are harsh and abrasive and will definitely cause damage to the boots. So go ahead and get your boots dirty. They can be safely cleaned.

Steps to Prevent Dry Socket after Dental Extraction
Dry socket (alveolar osteitis) is an infection in your tooth socket after a tooth is extracted. It occurs when the blood clot at the site of a tooth extraction is disrupted prematurely. This leaves the alveolar bone unprotected and exposed to the oral environment. The socket can be packed with food and bacteria. The pain typically commences 3-4 days following the extraction. This is often extremely unpleasant for the patient, as symptoms include extreme pain (sometimes worse than the toothache that indicated the extraction), a foul taste, bad breath, and swelling in the infected area. Nerves are exposed, and sometimes the bone is visible in the empty socket. It is often accompanied by what feels like an earache. There may be lymph-node involvement.
Dry socket occurs in approximately 5 percent of all tooth extractions. Women are at higher risk than men for developing dry socket. Of the women that have developed it, the majority take an oral contraceptive. Smokers have been shown to have a greatly increased risk of developing alveolar osteitis after tooth extraction. This is thought to be due to the decreased amount of oxygen available in the healing tissues as a result of carbon monoxide in tobacco smoke. It is advisable to avoid smoking following tooth extraction for at least 48 hours to reduce the risk of developing this dry socket.
Treatment for alveolar osteitis is mainly preventative. Maintaining good oral hygiene is a must before and during the healing period. If possible, have your teeth professionally cleaned several days before dental surgery. Take all of your regular medications for systemic illnesses (diabetics and cardiovascular diseases). Women are recommended to have extractions during the last five days of their menstrual cycle. This is to minimize chances of developing dry socket because the estrogen levels are lower during that part of the cycle (day 23-28).
Several things can cause the premature loss of a blood clot from an extraction site, including smoking, forceful spitting, sucking through a straw, coughing or sneezing. You should also avoid consuming carbonated or alcoholic beverages after an extraction, as these have also been associated with the development of dry socket. Also, you should:
• keep your fingers and tongue away from the extraction site.
• apply an ice pack to your jaw for the first 24 hours following surgery — on for 15-20 minutes, and off for 30-40 minutes — to prevent pain and swelling and stop excessive bleeding.
• not rinse your mouth the day of surgery. The next day, you can rinse gently with warm salt water; dissolve one teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water. Be sure to rinse and spit gently.
Call your dentist right away if you notice any symptoms of dry socket. Treatment for dry socket typically includes a gentle rinsing of the socket to remove debris. This is followed by packing the socket with Alvogyl. Its fibrous consistency allows for easy filling of the socket and good adherence during the entire healing process. The active ingredients of Alvogyl include:
• eugenol for analgesic action;
• butamben for anesthetic action; and
• iodoform for anti-microbial action.
Sometimes analgesics are also prescribed. You usually need to return to the dentist's office two to three times over a two-week time period for re-dressing and monitoring the healing. Fortunately, a dry socket is often self-healed over a longer time. In very rare situation where the dry socket can't heal itself, another operation may be needed. The procedure aims to make the socket bleed again and so that a new blood clot can be formed inside the post-extraction socket.

What is wronge with women today??????
Dont get me wronge I'm all for womens rights but some women take it to the extreme these days... What happened to women being women and men being men. I'm tired or being critized and looked down upon because I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works. My job is not any easier than a women who works. I run after a severly active 3 1/2 yr old and my 18 month old all day and on top of it I keep a clean house, make dinner every night for my husband, do all the laundry, take all the kids to there doctors appointments, do my husbnads dry cleaning at home ( we could afford to take it to the dry cleaners but why do that when I know how to pick up an iron and do it my self). Women now days are so obsessed about being a feminist that women like me get looked down upon as being "lazy" for not working. (I have NO problem with women that work , just the women that criticize me for not) Believe me I have a hard job but I love every minute of it. What do you think???
Well, you probably know by now I totally agree with you. I'm tired of all the feminist nonsense too. Women need to get a grip and realize that homemaking and motherhood are the best jobs a woman could have. The truth is you are so much better than the majority of women. Don't let them get you down. Most women don't know what they are talking about let alone make up their mind on something because they are so wishy-washy.
