I am a high school tennis player should i buy Head Metallix 6, Head Microgel Extreme, or Head extreme pro.?
I have narrowed it down to these 3 racquets, but cant decide, i know it usually depends on what kind of player you are but i was wondering if anyone had a recommendation. also if you have played with the head microgel extreme and extreme pro, does the rounder frame feel weird or is it not that round. Sry about the huge detail.
Did you mean Head Microgel Extreme Pro as your last racquet because from all the years I've been picking up racquets, never heard of that.
Ok, I will narrow them down to two racquets, Head Microgel Extreme and Head Microgel Extreme Pro. The reason I'm taking out Head Metallix 6 because it has a heavy balance point at the head and is oversize. That means this racquet can not let you control your shots or accelerate your swing speed to provide a variety of shots and spins. It is designed to give power but only power at the risk of losing any ability of Control. If you need more power in your shots then let this be your first choice out of the three because it is the most powerful.
Head Microgel Extreme and the Extreme Pro both are basically twins of each other from what I remember over the summer. I recall they look the same but they both are designed for different things. Unlike the Metallix they both provide you with more comfortable swings and feel in your shots and provide you with access to controlling your shots.
However, out of those two, I will say Extreme Pro because from what I remember, it had lighter head at balance point which means you can manuever your stroke and pronate your wrist more easily during your serve making you hit with tons of spin or pinpoint accuracy. It's weaker than the extreme but it is more advanced because it provides you with the ability to provide more spin and control so if you are a strong, experienced player who is powerful enough to make your own strong shots, then get this racquet.
