If you see a Roger Federer or a Serena Williams in your kids then you must encourage them to practice the game of tennis to the best of their ability. And for that I am sure many parents have enrolled their children in tennis clubs and tennis academies to get the best possible coaching and real-time practice in tennis.
But these clubs and academies can be quite expensive, plus they do have a limited time period for personal coaching and practice. Also these classes may also hinder in your child's studies. So what can be the best solution to give them maximum practice without compromising on studies and other activities?
The best solution is to buy them a tennis ball machine where they can practice playing tennis for hours. They don't have to follow a time schedule of any tennis club; they can play and have fun whenever they feel like. These ball machines are also a good coach for children so they have unlimited coaching time.
Once you invest in a ball machine for your kids you'll see them excel in the sport in a short period of time. They will learn to play their strokes when, have better timing to hit the ball, will know what to do when the ball comes flat or spins and will know to adjust their pace according to the balls speed. All this can be learnt with the help of one machine.
Kids need not have an advanced tennis ball machine like the ones which professional players use. You can get them the regular machines which send random and basic feeds so that they can play those simple shots and get the hang of the pace and the spin. And kids just love it to drop the ball on purpose and see them spiral down.
Ball machines for kids are lightweight yet tough. They are made of sturdy plastic and very safe. You just have to warn your kids not to put their fingers in the place where the ball comes out from. These machines are portable and light so you can carry them wherever you go. So next time you're going on a trip or long vacation, don't forget to pack this one up in the back of your car seat!
Ball machines for kids are also great for beginners and intermediate players. They can practice their shots and learn to groove their strokes. These machines are easy to use. No fancy mechanism like the advanced machines. You just have to turn them on and the machine will shoot the balls in every five seconds. You can also adjust the arc of the ball to hit in the desired length.
You can use a tennis ball machine for kids in the driveway, basement or the backyard as you can adjust the range.

Take Up Sports Collectibles as a Great Pastime
When you are young and have the burning power of youth inside of you, you can enjoy a wide variety of hobbies. Young people enjoy active sports like football and weightlifting. But, once the years start packing on, it becomes harder and harder to get involved in these types of sports. For many people, this is a depressing sign of their oncoming old age. However, it is a natural thing that happens to everyone, and you should not be depressed by the fact that you can't play with the younger guys any more. Instead, you should adapt your hobbies to be more suitable for your personality and your physical ability. To do this, you can start collecting memorabilia and collectibles that will remind you of the sports that you love so much.
You may have heard about someone spending millions of dollars on a baseball card of a piece of memorabilia, and this might have turned you away from the idea of gathering collectibles. However, this should not even be a factor. Million dollar deals like those are extremely rare, and only carried out by those who have a lot of money to waste. The truth is that anyone can get started in the collectibles industry. It doesn't require a lot of money, and it doesn't even require a lot of time. All it requires is the desire to start getting some items that will remind you of the sports you love. As your collection grows you will find yourself taking more and more pleasure from adding new items.
The most popular type of sports collectible is, of course, the card. Baseball cards, football cards, and every other kind of card imaginable have been printed and distributed for decades. If you look around enough, you might even find a big old box from your childhood, or a relative's childhood. This is a great way to get a card collection going, especially since it doesn't take a financial investment. However, cards aren't the only sports memorabilia that is considered highly collectible. Other items like jerseys, balls, helmets, or pictures can all be considered collectibles. If you have a ball you caught at a baseball game, by all means it is a collectible.
If you are serious about getting started with collectibles, you should buy some items to get you started. First, buy a cleaning kit that will allow you to keep items in pristine condition. Next get accessories that will allow you to display the items proudly. This could be a binder for your baseball cards, or some sort of display case to keep everything behind glass. No matter what you get, it should be able to protect the collectibles from any hazards that might befall them. If your collectibles are preserved well enough, they will have a much higher chance of being worth a significant amount of money in later years.
Collectibles aren't limited to a certain sport or a certain era. No matter what you are a fan of, you will be able to find something. While some stick to collecting older baseball cards, some are happy with amassing items from modern games, including NFL games and NASCAR races. From miniature race cars to helmet replicas, you can find items that are representative of whatever player / racer you are a fan of. Or, if you are just a fan of the sport in general, you can purchase more generic collectibles that don't support anyone in specific.
Sports collectibles make for a worthwhile pastime, and if you are looking to be more involved in sports without risking an injury then it could be the perfect pastime for you. To get started, all you need to do is pick a sport or a player that you are interested in above all, and start finding items. After you start to get a knack for it, you will find it hard to stop.

HELP!! What size tennis bag should I get?
I really cant decide what size bag I should get. I'm thinking either 3 or 6, but I cant quite decide.
I would need to carry two, sometimes 3 racquets. I also would take a couple of tennis balls, a bottle of water, shoes and a change of clothes. In your opinion, which size should I get??
Also, I'd love some recommendations of good bags. I was thinking of getting a Prince one: http://www.tenniswarehouse.com.au/store/bags/prince-team-6-pack-orange.html.
Then again, what size would i get it in?
Thanks!!
You should consider switching to a backpack as well.
I found over the years “the bigger the bag, the more I put in it”. Over time this leads to a pretty heavy bag. Nowadays I use a backpack to limit myself. If I’m playing a tournament I carry 3 racquets, several bottles of fluids, snacks and towels. I leave the change of shoes and clothes in the car. With a backpack I also find I’m more maneuverable when the tournament director changes courts on us at the last minute.
Here is a site showing a bag similar to mine.
