What is a good tour/competitive level tennis racket for an intermediate player?
I played tennis on and off for several years but have a comfortable grasp of the game. The racket i had when i started lessons a lonnng time ago was a Head Prestige Intelligence MidPlus. I love the racket but I want something different after all these years. I don't mind the weight of a racket so I'm not looking for a particularly light one. I also don't mind classics (prostaff, Prince graphite classic) I hit with a semi-western, two hand backhand.
I would highly recommend the Head MicroGel with a string tension around 54. I have the 2008 version and it plays like an absolute charm. I haven't tried the slight variations such as the pro weight or the Flexpoint version.
