An Introduction to Playing Games on the Internet
Are you looking to beat boredom at work, school, or at home? One of my favourite boredom busters is to play games on the computer. My favourite computer games are those that are online games.
There are very many websites that feature online games, and these games cover all sorts of genres. These can be action (e.g. sports or fighting), arcade, crossword puzzles, strategy, adventure, and lots more. If you require a distraction to keep your mind off things just for a few minutes and are bored of the usual game of Solitaire or Hearts, there are even 'quick play' games that are designed specifically for this purpose. Some of these quick play games are quite pointless yet fun, like trying to play beer pong or throwing paper balls at colleagues hiding in their office cubicles.
One of the best things about playing games on the internet is that you can download the games to your computer, play by yourself, and you can even play together with multiple friends or strangers.
Don't say I did not warn you but online games can be extremely addictive especially when you are playing against someone. These situations can occur particularly if you are trying to get a higher score than someone else, or you somehow are just sucked into multiplayer shooting or fighting games. Some people are so captivated by paid subscription multiplayer games which require you to join a group (also known as a 'clan' or 'guild') that they spend more and more time together online instead of in the real world. These games are so sticky, that there are even gaming competitions where you can win huge prizes in both national and international arenas. The cash prizes can be so huge that the better players can earn enough to become full-time Professional Gamers!
Whether you want to devote your entire life to games or are just looking for a quick stress reliever, playing online computer games is simply a really fun time waster and boredom buster. Do you have any favourite computer games that you play on the internet? Feel free to share them with me.

questionaire for beer pong players!!!?
I need people who play beer pong (preferably people who attended tournements) to fill this out! its for an english class paper please go into detail in your answer. the i need about 6 to answer....the person to give the most detailed answers gets best answer!
1. what got you into beer pong?
2. what do u most enjoy about it
3. any specific rules or regs that you would like to bring back or change?
4. have you entered any beer pong contest where there is cash prizes? (explain your experience)
5. do you consider beer pong a sport? give details.
6. do you think there are really professional beer pong players? if so what makes them professional if the only thing there is to offer is tournements.
I am not sure if you are referring to "original" beer pong (played with two cups per player and ping pong paddles) or beirut (commonly called beer pong now with 10 cups per team that you shoot ping pong balls into) but my answers are referring to the latter, Beirut/beer pong:
1. what got you into beer pong?
I attended Chico State University and saw it played at house parties. I then moved into my own house and started playing and hosting tournaments. So I basically got into it because I saw it around and people enjoyed it. I also can't drink beer well so this helped.
2. what do u most enjoy about it
The competition and that is gets you buzzed/drunk pretty quick. It's a really fun competition where everyone is a winner.
3. any specific rules or regs that you would like to bring back or change?
I always play no blowing, fingering, or overthrows. I sometimes play with rebounds, depending on the location (if we have a lot of room we do but if we don't we don't play rebounds to avoid spills). I like death cup over drink before you sink.
4. have you entered any beer pong contest where there is cash prizes? (explain your experience)
Yes I hosted a tournament with 18 teams and $5 buy ins each person. 1st and second take home money. Double elimination. I did not win.
5. do you consider beer pong a sport? give details.
No, I consider it a drinking game. I wouldn't expect to see it on ESPN. It does take skill and athleticism similar to darts, but it involves binge drinking and is more for fun so I don't consider it a sport.
6. do you think there are really professional beer pong players? if so what makes them professional if the only thing there is to offer is tournaments.
Not really. I am sure there are people who take it seriously and possibly travel for tournaments, but until it is legitimately a sport and people acknowledge professionals, its really just serious players.
If you have any more questions just add them, I will check back in just in case you need me to clarify
Boise Weekly's Coldest Beer
BW's ninth annual guide to the coldest brew in Ada County. It's hard to think of beer as work, but when you're testing 172 bars across Ada County in search of the coldest taps around, ordering a pint is serious business. For the last nine years, Boise Weekly has sent out an army of testers, armed with little more than a kitchen thermometer and a few sheets of paper to record the results. Why ...
