A popular question in any sports products store is commonly - "What badminton racquets will the pro masters employ?" And thus the best possible option I really could present anyone is in fact - "All of them." Whilst truth be told there are particular elements which pretty much all the pros do a search for in a racquet, at this time there is not any one particular racquet which pretty much all professional people favor. Each participant is completely unique and consequently possesses diverse specifications when picking out a racquet. Anything that performs well for one person is most likely a complete dud with regards to the next. Always keeping in mind, too, that the majority of the triumphs would depend certainly not so much on the racquet but the actual physical attributes of the player, right here are some of the points that the professionals have a look at when ever picking out a racquet.
If you require a racquet for control - Consider lighter weight badminton racquets if you're looking for additional control. Unstrung, the racquet ought to be around 85 and 90 grams, given the balance point is between 275mm and 280mm. Always bear in mind also, should you be the kind who would want to tape up the grip to really make it bigger, which could increase the weight to your racquet.
If you want a racquet for power - Try to find more heavy weight racquets, somewhere within 88 and 92 grams having a balance point of 285mm to 295mm. A more substantial weight racquet will have a reduced amount of shock and vibration when striking the shuttle.
If you need a racquet for power and control - Try to find racquets which possess a lesser amount of rigidity within the shaft. You'll be able to change the weight and balance of any racquet for increased control but particularly in case you are a novice player you are likely to obtain a lot more power when you have a far more flexible shaft in your racquet.
When shopping for badminton racquets, you should not even consider purchasing a wooden racquet nowadays, if you are able to even locate one. The newer racquets manufactured from aluminum, steel and carbon-fibers tend to be significantly lighter weight making for such a faster game now that if you decide to try to compete with a wood racquet you may as well just stand still in the center of the court.
Do you plan to invest in a fresh badminton racket? Are you currently a seasoned player or perhaps a novice?

Choosing Junior Tennis Racquets
Selecting Junior Tennis Racquets
If you've a young tennis player on your hand, in that case you know it is time to invest in a few junior tennis racquets. Of course it would not sound correct for a kid playing small League to use an adult sized bat, so children playing tennis too shouldn't be using full sized racquets.
If you've a young tennis player on your hand, in that case you know it is time to invest in a few junior tennis racquets. Of course it would not sound correct for a kid playing small League to use an adult sized bat, so children playing tennis too shouldn't be using full sized racquets. Junior tennis racquets come in several variations and the key to picking the right one generally rests in its size.
Of course the phrase junior tennis racquets is really broad and so there's room for different classifications within this broad system. Depending on the age and size of your kid, you will need a different choice of racquet.
As your child grows, you'll need to upgrade the racquet many times along he way to make sure that they have the right racquet for their requirements. Thus it's best need to splurge on junior tennis racquets, you may only get 1 or 2 years of solid use out of them.
If your youngster is less than five years of age and is already hitting the courts, or stands at less than four feet tall, you need a particularly small junior tennis racquets with frames no longer than 21 inches.
In this same range, you need to look for junior tennis racquets that weigh approximately seven ounces without the strings and have a head size of ninety inches. These junior tennis racquets will be huge enough to allow your kid to enjoy success with an expanded sweet spot, but will be small enough for them to easily wield and learn with.
Over the next few years, until your youngster reaches about 8 years of age or is taller than four and a half feet, you can size up to a racket with a 23 or twenty-five inch frame, with a larger head size of about 100 inches. Look for junior tennis racquets with a 8 ounce frame for this size.
These junior tennis racquets will accommodate your child's additional size and strength while getting them used to the adult sized racquets they'll shortly be ready to switch to.
Junior tennis racquets are all about size, because a child's size and strength changes so rapidly, you need racquets that are designed in particular for them. Be ready to buy many different junior tennis racquets over the course of a few years if your kid started especially young, because she will swiftly grow beyond the racquet that was started with.

Which tennis racket/racquet should I buy?
I am an intermediate player, playing about 3-4 times a week. Price is important. I narrowed it down to 3 racquets:
Wilson nFocus Performance Tennis Racquet- on sale at Sports Authority from $99 to $69. Ther reviews are great, which helps.
Prince Triple Threat Scream Tennis Racquet (Pre-Strung)- on sale at Sports Authority from $119 to $49. Once again amazing reviews, and really cheap.
Prince Shark OS Prestrung Tennis Racquet- on sale at Sports Authority from $189 to $69. While there is a huge price reduction, I don't think that it'll be too good because there are no reviews. Do you think that because the price has been cut, It's a better racquet?
You can't live on reviews alone. Ones opinion of a racquet depends entirely on what type of player they are. Are you a control type player who would benifit from a stiffer racquet and higher string tension? Is power more important to you that control? Then you might want to look at a head heavy racquet and lower your string tension for even more power. Do you want more forgiveness on miss-hits? If so a mid-plus or oversize racquet will expand the sweet spot.
You need to shop in person and ask important questions related to your game and not rely on reviews of strangers. Sport Chalet trumps Sports Authority big time when it comes to asking the right people.
Golden chance goes begging
LOS ANGELES: Andy Murray squandered a match point in the second set and American Sam Querrey rallied Sunday for a 5-7, 7-6 (7/2), 6-3 victory over the British top seed in the final of the Los Angeles Open. The 23-year-old Scotsman missed a golden chance for his first ATP title of the season and suffered his first loss in five career meetings with Querrey, who had never before taken a set off ...
