Sometimes when we're facing a life crisis we think it best to pretend it's not happening. Ignorance isn't bliss in a case where you feel that your marriage is crumbling away right beneath your feet. You may convince yourself that you and your spouse are just struggling through a temporary rough patch or that things will get better once your bills are paid or the children grow up. An attitude like this spells disaster for your relationship. You need to face what is going on in your marriage so you can take the necessary steps to fix it before it's too late. If you fear that your marriage is heading for divorce, there are some signs that indicate that it indeed is. Spot any of these in your relationship and you know it's time to take immediate action.
Signs that your marriage is heading for divorce include:
You stop talking about the important issues. Once a couple stops talking about the issues that are plaguing their marriage, the relationship is heading downhill fast. This typically happens when one or both partners just give up. They don't see the value in starting a discussion about what is wrong with the marriage and what can be done to remedy it. Instead, they ignore the problem and nothing ever gets resolved.
You stop spending time together. In every marriage there are two kinds of couple time. There is the time you spend as co-parents, tending to the needs of your children or the tasks around the house. Then there's romantic couple time. This is when you two flirt, hold hands and share intimacy. If the romantic couple time has dwindled to little or none, that's a very strong sign that there is a problem in the marriage.
You stop helping your spouse. Marriage is truly a partnership. The couple looks to each other as their main source of strength and companionship. In a good marriage, both partners see their spouse as their safe spot in the world. They can turn to them when things feel overwhelming and they know their spouse will be there to pick them back up and support them. If you've stopped trying to make your spouse's life simpler and happier, that's not good at all. It means that their needs and happiness isn't as important to you as it once was. Don't ignore that as it is one of the first steps towards a crumbling marriage.
Once you can recognize the signs your marriage is headed for divorce you can start taking action to fix it. You don't have to allow the relationship to wither and die. That doesn't have to be your future or the future of your family.
Couples can love one another and yet find themselves drifting apart and headed for a divorce. There are steps you can take, with or without the aid of your spouse to get your marriage back into the loving place it once was.
You can save your marriage and rebuild it into a more connected, satisfying relationship.
Signs of Problems in Marriage- Problem Signs to Look for in Your Marriage
You may have a feeling that your marriage is failing. You may also have a feeling that your spouse may be interested in someone else. Well, what I'm going to share with you are some problem signs to look for in your marriage.
The signs of problems in marriage are:
1. Lack of intimacy. If you notice a sudden lack of intimacy, then your marriage could be in jeopardy. Your spouse could either be cheating on you or losing interest in you. Or your spouse could be so mad that they don't want to be intimate with you.
This is a problem that you can't let it "work it self out". You have to do something about it. Letting this go on for too long will cause your marriage to fail.
2. Communication. Another sign of problems in your marriage is the lack of communication. This is a big problem in most marriages. You have to communicate with your spouse. You need to talk to your spouse about any- and everything.
Let them know when you feel unloved or disrespected. This will allow you to have a happy marriage.
3. Lack of quality time. If you aren't spending enough time with your spouse, your marriage will experience many problems. You have to spend time with each other. If you have to dedicate one day a week where you two spend all day together, you should do so.
If you continue to not spend time with your spouse, you will find yourself in court facing a divorce.
These are a few signs of problems in a marriage. If you are experiencing any problems or feel that your marriage needs to be saved, you should do something about it. Don't let your marriage go downhill. You may face divorce if you don't do anything about it.

Can a county court force me to sign a tax exemption in a divorce judgment?
Went through trial last week and the X's lawyer is drawing up the final ruling based on his interpretation of the judge's order. Sent me a copy that I received today, and has written everything to suit my X.
The tax portion of the order says that only the CS was to be current for me to sign the exemption form with the IRS, but the judge kept saying that she couldn't force me to give him the tax benefits. I said I would sign the form if ALL his financial obligations were met that had been ordered through mediation, etc.
What can be said to the judge before she signs the order to the effect that the paragraph should just be stricken from the order because his lawyer is being biased.
or what happens should the lawyer submit the order as is-- would i be forced to sign the exemption form?
What you mean by tax exemption is totally unclear. Any answer you get will be based on speculation.
Editorial: Everywhere there's signs
One look around town lately is enough to reinforce what most already know — that, if it hadn’t already, campaign season has truly arrived, and in full force. Yard signs touting the candidacies of many state and local candidates for public office dot (some might say, litter) the landscapes of Craig and Moffat County neighborhoods.
